Earl De Grey and Ripon, on Wednesday, laid the foundation-stone of a convalescent home, which is to be erected on an admirable site at Meltham Mills, as supplemental to the Huddersfield Infirmary. This new institution will be erected at the cost of Mr. Charles Brook, jun., of the firm of Brook Brothers, the well-known thread manufacturers, Meltham.
