NEW NORTH ROAD (South Side). Highfield. No 97 (Ivedene). Mid C19. Hammer-dressed stone. Ashlar dressings. Pitched slate roof. Two storeys and attics. Two gables with elaborate cast iron finials. Right hand gable has two-storey canted bay: parapet ornamented with quatrefoils. Ground floor has segment-headed sashes; first floor Caernarvon-arched sashes; second floor cusped sashes with hoodmoulds. Elaborately sculpted porch with segment-headed arches on polished granite columns: elaborate cast-iron balustrade.
