MELTHAM.
Fatal Accident.
A young girl, the daughter of Thomas Hirst, generally known as "Young Tom o' Prisses," was playing, on Thursday afternoon, in an outhouse, through which water runs for the accommodation of the tenants of Mr. T. Hinchliffe. In the outhouse there had been left a flag reared against the wall ; this flag by some means fell upon the girl and killed her on the spot, where she was shortly after found dead by her father.
