MELTHAM.

Anniversary Sermons.

On Sunday last two excellent sermons wore preached in the Baptist Chapel, Meltham; one in the afternoon by the Rev. Thomas Thomas, the resident minister; the other in the evening, by the Rev. Mr. Holmes, of Pole Moor, after which collections were made amounting to £20, in aid of the funds of the Sunday School in connection with that place of worship.
