HOLMFIRTH.

VAGRANCY.

On Wednesday last, at the office of Mr. Kidd, before Joshua Moorhouse, Esq., Dominick McChiver was charged under the vagrant act by Constable Earnshaw, with highly improper conduct. The defendant had in his possession a quantity of clothes and other salvage from the late flood, for which he had exchanged some pictures of a low character. He was severely reprimanded by Mr. Moorhouse, and ordered to leave the neighbourhood before twelve o'clock the same day.
