Memorial Fountain.

We have pleasure In announcing that the fountain, now approaching completion In the Market Place, New Street, which is about to be presented to the town by Sir John William Ramsden, Bart., as a memorial in commemoration of Her Majesty’s jubilee, will be publicly unveiled on Tuesday next, at 12-30 p.m, by Lady Gwendolen Ramsden, in the presence of the Major and Corporation of the borough. The members of the Town Council will assemble at the Town Hall, and march in procession to the Market Place, where the ceremony of Unveiling will take place, and Sir John William Ramsden will formally present, and the Mayor (Alderman Joseph Brooke) will accept, the memorial fountain as a gift to the borough; and we are requested to state that any gentlemen who feel desirous of joining the procession and taking part in the proceedings are cordially invited to meet at the Town Hall, Ramsden Street, at 12 o'clock at noon.
