The following is a transcription of a historic newspaper article and may contain occasional errors.

NETHERTON.

The Oddfellows' Hall.

This project is now fairly on foot, aud the inhabitants are in high spirits in consequence. The plans, specifications, &c., are all ready for inspection, and the works are to be let on Wednesday night next. Besides a hall, the spirited projectors are intending to erect seven cottages, to be part and pared of the whole. This shows that Netherton is in a prosperous state.
