Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HODGSON, HORACE CHARLES. Lance Corporal. No 13225. Coldstream Guards. Born York. Enlisted Huddersfield. Employed as a clerk at the Huddersfield Labour Exchange. Was for some time head chorister at York Minster. Enlisted October 1914. Killed in action, 15.9.1916, aged 22 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
