INGRAM, HERBERT WILLIAM. Guardsman. No 30053. 3rd Battalion Grenadier Guards. Born Butterknowle, Durham, 16.9.1890. Son of Thomas and Eliza Ingram, 2 Duke Street, Huddersfield. Employed as a relief signalman on the Lancashire and Yorkshire railway. Single. Enlisted 21.6.1917. Killed in action, 23.8.1918. Buried BUCQUOY ROAD CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 6, Row D, Grave 15.
ROH:- High Street United Methodist Church.
Brother of Private SIDNEY ROWLAND INGRAM killed in action, 26.10.1917.
