OXLEY, HERBERT. Private. No 5544. 23rd (County of London) Battalion. Formerly No 75419 Royal Army Medical Corps. Lived Kirkburton. Son of Samuel Vincent and Eliza Oxley, of Far Dean, Kirkburton. Killed in action, 15.7.1916, aged 23 years. Buried LOUEZ MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row E, Grave 8.
ROH:- All Hallows Parish Church, Kirkburton.
