Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HAIGH, HERBERT. Private. No 81125. 1/5th Battalion Durham Light Infantry. Born Huddersfield. Son of Mr and Mrs David Haigh, 28 Ash Street, Hillhouse, Huddersfield. Employed by William Greenhalgh and Sons, wholesale drapers. Killed in action, 11.4.1918, aged 19 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
ROH:- Fartown and Birkby War Memorial; memorial in Almondbury Cemetery.
