- SCHOFIELD, HENRY. Driver. No 140401. 'W' 8th Trench Mortar Battery, Royal Field Artillery. Born Holmfirth. Fourth son of Mr. J. Schofield, Wells Brook Farm, Holmfirth. Enlisted March 1915. Died of wounds at No 34 Casualty Clearing Station, 8.5.1917, aged 27 years. Buried LA CHAPELETTE BRITISH CEMETERY, PERONNE. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row B, Grave 12.
