The 1890 O.S. Town Plan shows Clough House Mill Beck flowing under Bradford Road at Hebble Bridge, becoming Hebble Beck which flows eastwards into the Sir John Ramsden Canal. If the beck still exists, it had been routed underground and passes under the Great North Retail Park.
