Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

WOOD, HARRY. Private. No 35709. 25th (Tyneside Irish) Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. Formerly No 50241 West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Grasscroft Road, Honley, Huddersfield, 16.12.1897. Only son of Mr and Mrs George Wood, 37 Crosland Street, Crosland Moor, Huddersfield. Employed as a joiner's apprentice by Messrs George Ainley and Sons, Crosland Moor. Single. Enlisted 29.12.1916. Reported missing, presumed killed, on 28.4.1917. Has no known grave. Commemorated ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
