Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SKEEN, HARRY. Private. No 23257. 8th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Fartown, Huddersfield, 23.3.1898. Educated Thomas Street Board School. Employed as a moulder. Single. Lived 38 Bradford Road, Huddersfield. Enlisted August 1916. Killed in action at Passchendaele on 27.8.1917. Has no known grave. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
ROH:- St. James's Presbyterian Church; St. Andrew's Church, Leeds Road, Huddersfield.
