The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

POLLARD, HARRY. Private. No 4225. 1/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Son of Mrs A. Pollard of Berry Brow, Huddersfield. Husband of Edith Ida Pollard, 7a William Street, Huddersfield. Killed in action in the attack on the Schwaben Redoubt on 3.9.1916, aged 19 years. Buried CONNAUGHT CEMETERY. Grave location:- Divion Wood Cemetery No 2, Memorial 1.
ROH:- Armitage Bridge War Memorial; St. Andrew's Church, Leeds Road, Huddersfield; Huddersfield Drill Hall.
