- HOYLE, HARRY. Lance Corporal. No 267790. 1/7th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Formerly No 6064 3/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Paddock 17.10.1896. Son of Walter and Agnes Hoyle, 49 Beech Street, Paddock. Educated Paddock Council School. Attended Paddock United Methodist Church. Employed as a weaver. Single. Enlisted 17.3.1916. Killed in action at Ypres, 21.3.1918, aged 22 years. Buried MENIN ROAD SOUTH MILITARY CEMETERY, YPRES. Grave location:- Plot 3, Row F, Grave 25.
