- GOODWIN, HARRY. Private. No 32963. 6th Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment. Born Hillhouse, Huddersfield. Son of Peter T. and Zillah Goodwin, 47 Clement Street, Birkby. Educated Hillhouse Council School. Employed as a clerk in the Huddersfield Corporation rate office. Single. Enlisted January 1917. Wounded at Armentieres 20.3.1918. Died of wounds at Queen's Hospital, Frognal, Sidcup, Kent, 10.6.1918, aged 21 years. Buried EDGERTON CEMETERY, HUDDERSFIELD. Grave location:- 5B, 1.
