Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

ELLIS, HARRY. Rifleman. No 51911. 2/8th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Cumberworth. Son of Allan Ellis of Birdsedge, Denby Dale. Reported missing, presumed killed, at the Battle of Cambrai, 22.11.1917, aged 19 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated CAMBRAI MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
