Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

EAGLAND, HARRY. Private. No 45333. 13th (1st Barnsley) Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment. Born Slaithwaite. Son of David and Emma Eagland, Byrne Place, Slaithwaite. Employed by Messrs Pogson and Company, Bridge Street Mills, Slaithwaite. Was a member of the Old Slaithwaite Church gymnasium. Died of wounds, 12.4.1918, aged 33 years. Buried LA KREULE MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row A, Grave 20.
