Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BROOK, HARRY. Sergeant. No 240082. 2/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born 58 Great Northern Street, Huddersfield. Son of Pearson and Emily Brook, 85 Hillhouse Lane, Huddersfield. Educated at Beaumont Street Board School. Employed as a warehouseman by Messrs M. Haigh, Sykes and Company, St. John's Road, Huddersfield. Enlisted July 1911. Killed in action at the Battle of Bullecourt, 3.5.1917, 21. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
