Harold Rollin (c.1899-1918)

Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

ROLLIN, HAROLD. Private. No 138785. 3rd Battalion Machine Gun Corps. Formerly No 59512 Durham Light Infantry. Born Otley. Son of Henry Emsley Rollin, Temperance Hotel, Honley. Employed by Messrs David France and Company, of Honley, where his father was foreman finisher. Died of meningitis at No 38 Casualty Clearing Station on 24.10.1918, aged 19 years. Buried AWOINGT BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row E, Grave 23.

Brother of Private WALTER ROLLIN killed in action, 3.2.1917.
