The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

LOCKWOOD, HAROLD. Rifleman. No S/28944. 1st Battalion The Rifle Brigade. Formerly No R/19962. King's Royal Rifle Corps. Born Moldgreen 8.11.1891. Son of Ben and Emma Lockwood, 49 Victoria Street, Moldgreen. Educated Moldgreen National School. Employed as a clerk by Messrs Godfrey Sykes and Sons, Moldgreen. Enlisted 1.3.1916. Killed in action near Lillers on 17.5.1918, aged 26 years. Buried LE VERTANNOY BRITISH CEMETERY, HINGES. Grave location:- Row B, Grave 10.
ROH:- Christ Church, Moldgreen.
