Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

KENWORTHY, HAROLD. Private. No S/11853 'A' Company, 8th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders. Born Glasgow. Enlisted Huddersfield. Lived 18 Annisfield Avenue, Greenfield. Brother of Mr H. Kenworthy, 3 Berry Street, Greenfield, Oldham. Employed as a tram driver by Huddersfield Corporation Tramways Department. Killed in action, 22.8.1917, aged 27 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
