Harold Hoyle (c.1890-1917)

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:
- HOYLE, HAROLD. Gunner. No 77631. 47th Siege Battery Royal Garrison Artillery. Born Slaithwaite. Lived with his sister, Mrs John W. Hirst, 14 Hill Top, Lingards, Slaithwaite. Employed as a weaver by Messrs Ben Hall and Sons, Milnsbridge. Was a member of the Booth Bank Working Men's Club. Enlisted May 1916. Killed in action, 21.7.1917, aged 27 years. Buried DICKIEBUSCH NEW MILITARY CEMETERY EXTENSION. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row E, Grave 8.
