Harold Hanson (1896-1918)

HANSON, HAROLD. Private. No 143173. 17th Battalion Machine Gun Corps. Formerly No 5545 Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Armitage Bridge 9.9.1896. Son of George and Frances Ada Hanson, 21 Park Terrace, Yews Green, Lockwood. Educated Armitage Bridge Church of England School. Employed as a weaver by Messrs George Mallinson and Sons Limited, Spring Mill, Hoylehouse, Huddersfield. Single. Enlisted 30.3.1916. Died of wounds, 19.9.1918, aged 22 years. Buried FIVE POINTSCEMETERY, LECHELLE. Grave location:- Row C, Grave 7.
