BROOK, HAROLD CYRIL. Private. No 302123 2nd Battalion The Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment). Born Lindley. Son of Albert and Emily Isabella Brook, 9 Sandhill Cottages, Marsden. Employed as a woollen minder at Holme Mills, Marsden. Was a member of Longwood Church choir and attended Lingards Church Sunday School, Slaithwaite. Killed in action, 18.9.1918, aged 20 years. Buried in MORCHIES AUSTRALIAN CEMETERY. Grave location:- Row C, Grave 11,
