Ginnethon Dyson was a woollen cloth manufacturer and a local councillor for the district of Marsh.

Biography

He was born in Lindley circa 1835.

He was narrowly elected onto the new formed Huddersfield Town Council in September 1868 after receiving 31 more votes than manufacturer Benjamin Hanson.[1]

According to his probate record, he died on 17 July 1878 at Funchal Madeira. The probate was proved at Wakefield on 10 August 1880 by his brother, woollen cloth manufacturer Eli Dyson.
