COLBRIDGE, GEORGE WILLIAM JACKSON. Corporal. No 23180. 8th Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment. Born Birstall, Leeds. Son of John and Elizabeth Colbridge, 6 Midland Street, Huddersfield. Employed as labourer by the London and North Western Railway Company at the Hillhouse engine shed. Attended Christ Church, Woodhouse Hill and the Salvation Army at Lockwood. Killed in action, 10.10.1917, aged 21 years. Buried YPRES RESERVOIR CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row H, Grave 27.
