Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

TAYLOR, GEORGE. Rifleman. No 268693. 1/7th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Huddersfield. Married, with two children. Lived 27 Stile Common Road, Primrose Hill, Huddersfield. Employed by Mr Thomas, hairdresser, of Market Street, Huddersfield. Enlisted November 1915. Killed in action near Cambrai on 11.10.1918, aged 33 years. Buried WELLINGTON CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row H, Grave 7/10.
