George Senior (c.1897-1917)

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:
- SENIOR, GEORGE. Private. No 241975. 2/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Lepton, Huddersfield. Son of Mrs Elizabeth H. Senior, Knotty Lane, Lepton. Along with his brother, Thomas Senior, was employed as a mason on the Whitley Bow Estate. Enlisted March 1916. Killed in action, 16.3.1917. Buried QUEEN'S CEMETERY, BUCQUOY. Grave location:- Plot 3, Row E, Grave 8.
