Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

ROBSHAW, GEORGE. Private. No 110127. 10th Battalion The Tank Corps. Formerly No 219465 Royal Field Artillery. Born Castleford. Son of Mary Robshaw and the late George Henry Robshaw, 43 Robroyd, Wellhouse, Golcar. Attended Wellhouse Church and Sunday School. Killed in action, 9.8.1918, aged 22 years. Buried CHIPILLY COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION. Grave location:- Row A, Grave 1.
ROH:- St. John's Church, Golcar; memorial in Wellhouse Churchyard.
