Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

KENNEDY, GEORGE PERCIVAL. Private. No 30176. 8th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. Born New Laithe Hill, Almondbury, 6.5.1897. Son of Percival and Sarah Kennedy, 36 Back Ivy Street, Moldgreen. Educated Christ Church School, Moldgreen. Employed as a picture frame polisher. Enlisted 19.6.1916. Killed in action, 6.12.1916, aged 19 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
