The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

LUNN, GEORGE. Private. No 10573. 2nd Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Son of Frank Sykes and Emma Amelia Lunn, South Street, Huddersfield. Gassed at Hill 60 on 5.5.1915. Died of the effects of gas poisoning at No 3 General Hospital, Rouen, on 9.5.1915, aged 21 years. Buried St. SEVER CEMETERY, ROUEN. Grave location:- Plot A, Row 9, Grave 16.
