George Herbert Brawn (c.1893-1918)

Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BRAWN, GEORGE HERBERT. Guardsman. No 22549. 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards. Formerly No 3864 1st Life Guards and No 73 Household Battalion. Son of Mr James Brawn of Barkhouse, Shelley. Employed by Messrs G. and W. Moseley, shopkeepers and farmers, of Shelley. Died of wounds at Le Treport, 2.9.1918, aged 25 years. Buried in MONT-HUON MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 7, Row E, Grave 3B.
