Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

TYAS, FRED. Private. No 31985. 4th Battalion Special Reserve Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment. Born Huddersfield. Son of Mr and Mrs Herbert Tyas, 28 Salford, Lockwood. Employed as a cloth finisher by Messrs Kaye and Stewart. Enlisted November 1916. Killed in action, 24.3.1918, aged 18 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
