The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

TINKER, FRED. Private. No 23602. 9th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Ravensthorpe. Lived 16 Reins, Honley. Reported missing, presumed killed, at the Battle of Arras on 25.4.1917. He was 34 years of age. Has no known grave. Commemorated ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
