Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SWIFT, FRED. Private. No 33270 6th Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment. Formerly No 30697 Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Kirkheaton. Son of Alfred and Eliza Swift of Lascelles Hall, Kirkheaton. Killed in action, 1.10.1918, aged 20 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated VIS-en-ARTOIS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
