HODGSON, FRED. Private. No 41944. 12th Battalion Manchester Regiment. Formerly 3/31833 North Staffordshire Regiment. Born Lepton. Son of Mr and Mrs Hodgson, Botany, Lepton. Employed by Messrs Kilner Brothers, Whitley Willow Mills. Killed in action, 4.9.1918, aged 20 years. Buried LEBUCQUIERE COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row E, Grave 6.
ROH:- Lepton Parish Church; St. John's Church, Kirkheaton.
