Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

EDINBURGH, FRED. Private. No G/13965. 7th Battalion East Kent Regiment. Born Shepley 12.10.1888. Son of the late Alfred and Sarah Jane Edinburgh. Brother of Mrs Joe Wood, 30 Stoney Lane, Taylor Hill, Lockwood. Educated at Shepley School. Employed as a weaver by Messrs John Taylor, Colne Road Mills. Was a member of the Milton Church cricket club. Single. Enlisted November 1916. Reported missing, presumed killed, 12.10.1917, aged 29 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
