Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

EARNSHAW, FRED, MM. Lance Corporal. No 43452. 1/5th Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers. Born Meltham. Son of Arthur and Charlotte Earnshaw of Wentworth Farm, Meltham. Prior to enlistment was employed as a joiner. Awarded the Military Medal posthumously. Killed in action, 1.10.1918, aged 20 years. Buried CANTAING BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Row B, Grave 4.
