The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

DRIVER, FRED. Private. No S/40348. 1st Battalion Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. Born Kilner Bank, Moldgreen, 3.10.1892. Son of Mr George Harry Driver, 35 High Royd, Moldgreen. Employed as a bookbinder by Messrs Preston Brothers and Company, Fox Street, Huddersfield. Single. Enlisted January 1916. Embarked for France July 1916. Killed in action, 1.12.1916, aged 24 years. Buried OVILLERS MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 14, Row Q, Grave 9.
