Frank Taylor (1887-1918)

- TAYLOR, FRANK. Private. No 44994. 2nd Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment. Born Birkby, Huddersfield, 14.6.1887. Son of James and Ellen Taylor, 5 Chadwick's Yard, Blacker Road, Birkby. Educated Hillhouse Board School. Employed as a pattern weaver. Husband of Elsie May Taylor, 40 Birkby Hall Road, Huddersfield. Enlisted 18.8.1917. Killed in action near St. Quentin on 18.9.1918, aged 31 years. Buried TREFCON BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Row D, Grave 17.
