Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SHERRATT, FRANK. Lance Corporal. No M2/176022. 701st Company, Army Service Corps. Born Honley, Huddersfield, 6.2.1899. Son of Frederick and Ada Sherratt, 92 Gledholt Bank, Huddersfield. Educated at Honley Schools. Employed as a traveller by the Bradford Motors Company. Single. Enlisted 16.6.1916. Died from accidental injuries at No 6 Casualty Clearing Station on 18.8.1916, aged 26 years. Buried BARLIN COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row C, Grave 26.
