Frank Rawlinson (c.1892-1917)

Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

RAWLINSON, FRANK. Private. No 242454. 'B' Company, 2/6th West Yorkshire Regiment. Born 35 Mulberry Street, Moldgreen, Huddersfield. Son of John William Rawlinson, 35 Mulberry Street, Moldgreen. Educated Moldgreen Council School. Husband of Mary Rawlinson, 35 Kilner Bank, Moldgreen. Employed as a fettler and teaser at Victoria Mills, Lockwood. Attended St. Paul's Wesleyan Sunday School, Moldgreen. Enlisted October 1916. Killed in action at the Battle of Bullecourt, 3.5.1917, aged 24 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
