FRETWELL, FRANK FOSTER. Trooper. No 8664. 5th Dragoon Guards (Princess Charlotte's Own). Born 5 William Terrace, Alexandra Street, Hull, 27.1.1895. Son of Sam and Harriet Ann Fretwell, 1 Back Spring Street, Huddersfield. Employed as a labourer. Enlisted 10.9.1911. Died of wounds to the head in No 12 Casualty Clearing Station, Proven, Belgium, 30.10.1917. Buried MENDINGHEM MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 6, Row A, Grave 33.
