The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BLACKSTONE, FRANK. Gunner. No 29378. 'D' Battery 64th Brigade Royal Field Artillery. Born Marsden. 10.9.1898. Son of Charles T. and Sarah J. Blackstone, 94 Willow Lane, Birkby. Educated at St. Thomas's Church of England School, Longroyd Bridge. Single. Died of wounds, 14.5.1918, at No 8 Stationary Hospital, Wimereux, aged 19 years. Buried in BOULOGNE EASTERN CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 9, Row B, Grave 80.
