France Bailey (c.1896-1916)

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:
- BAILEY, FRANCE. No 28506. Private. 2nd Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. Born Slaithwaite. Son of Mr and Mrs Jim Bailey, 8 New House, Moorside, Slaithwaite. Connected with the Shred Church and Sunday School. Enlisted April 1916. Went out to Salonica, Greece, in June 1916. Killed in action, 31.10.1916, aged 20 years. Buried in STRUMA MILITARY CEMETERY, GREECE. Grave location:- Plot 6, Row G, Grave 4.
