Ernest Whitehead (?-1918)

Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

WHITEHEAD, ERNEST. Private. No 241275. 1/4th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Married. Lived 10 Summer Street, Lockwood, Huddersfield. Employed as a woollen feeder by Messrs J. Crowther and Sons, Union Mills, Milnsbridge. Died of wounds at No 10 Casualty Clearing Station on 17.4.1918, 35 years. Buried LIJSSENTHOEK MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 27, Row G, Grave 11.
