- TAYLOR, ERNEST. Private. No 29168. 1/6th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Teddington, Middlesex. Son of William and Mary Taylor of Mentmore, Leighton Buzzard. Husband of Elizabeth Taylor, 38 Clayton's Yard, Northumberland Street, Huddersfield, Employed as a carter at the London and North Western Railway Company's goods yard at Huddersfield. Died of wounds, 27.7.1918, aged 30 years. Buried ESQUELBECQ MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 3, Row D, Grave 14.
